Casey Davenhill
Interim Director 720-722-4213 Casey has been the Cherry Creek Stewardship Partners Director for over 10 years. As a consultant to the Trust for Public Lands, Casey helped to assemble the stakeholder group to develop the Cherry Creek Basin Open Space Stewardship and Conservation Plan, 2002. Working with a growing and diverse group of Partners, Casey has promoted conservation and stewardship in the Cherry Creek basin through active volunteer restoration programs to train and support school and community groups as well as outreach to the educational community to provide teacher training workshops, science fair support and service learning opportunities. As Administrator for the Colorado Watershed Network and the Colorado Watershed Assembly, Casey has a long history of coordination with River Watch and other important programs and projects facilitated by these two organizations. Over the years, Casey has participated in the planning and implementation for numerous guiding documents developed for the Cherry Creek Watershed such as the new Watershed Master Plan being compiled by the Cherry Creek Basin Water Quality Authority. Casey represents the Partners as a participant in the Cherry Creek Working Group, a collaborative group made up of local elected officials and land use staff and promoting the shared public health benefits of connected open space parks and trails. Casey is also the Local Basin Contact for Water 2012 which is engaged in the public education process associated with Colorado’s Interbasin Compact Committee’s Metro Roundtable education and outreach efforts. Casey uses her accounting training and experience to offer professional guidance to watershed and educational non-profit groups in maintaining their financial accounts and providing grant and financial management support. |

Erika Shioya Member Services Coordinator 720-722-4292 Erika has a BS in Genetics and Plant Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. Before starting with CWA, she worked as a lab assistant in a hydroponic R&D lab and as an environmental educator, teaching young children about the importance of water conservation. She loves cooking, playing with plants and spending time in the outdoors. |

Stephanie DiBetitto OSM/VISTA Stephanie DiBetitto has joined the CWA as an AmeriCorps VISTA for the Western Hardrock Watershed Team. She has a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont and a love for water resources. She has done research investigating water quality in response to urbanization and worked on a stream Monitoring Project in Vermont. She enjoys being with friends, going on adventures, doing yoga, and hiking. |

Michaela Taylor Program Manager 303-291-7322 Michaela graduated from Florida State University and earned a degree in English and a minor in Biology. She has been working with River Watch since 2002 and became Program Manager in 2006. She has her own line of organic dog treats and enjoys writing screenplays in her spare time. Michaela also has a fetish for top-of-the-line purses. |

Barb Horn Water Resource Specialist 970-382-6667 Barb has been a water resource specialist of some sort with the Colorado Division of Wildlife since 1985. She has a BS in Environmental Conservation, Environmental Economics, MBS in Stream Ecology all from University of Colorado. She peaked at five years old and has been trying to get back to that level ever since. |

Matt McIntyre Water Quality Analyst 970-472-4736 Matt graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Hydrology. He has been the River Watch Analyst since 1994. Matt has a passion for Enchiladas Del Mar, trout fishing the Miracle Mile, and Rockies baseball. He is the proud owner of a golden retriever named Lily. |

Shayna Miller Volunteer Coordinator 303-291-7340 Shayna is responsible for all volunteer coordination, from training volunteers to supplying their needs and technical assistance. Shayna has her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Skidmore College and just recently completed her Master of Arts at the University of Colorado in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Policy and Politics, specializing in Climate Change policy. |

Sabrina Kliman OSM/VISTA - Outreach Coordinator 303-291-7439 Sabrina graduated with a BA in Chemistry and is serving as an OSM/VISTA with River Watch for a year. She has spent time working with the Volunteer Rier Assessment Program in New Hampshire as well as in the biotech industry. She enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and being outdoors. She is a native of Boxford, Massachusetts. |

Michael Blazewicz Program Director Michael migrated to Colorado by way of Washington via Vermont. He utilizes an interdisciplinary background to address watershed restoration through research, education, and collaborative design/build projects. He has a B.S. from the University of Vermont and recently completed a Masters degree at the Yale School of Forestry. In his spare time he enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, climbing, mountaineering, fly fishing, surfing (which by the way is hard to do in Colorado), growing food and long walks on the beach. |
