Andreas Wion holds a PhD in Ecology from Colorado State University and a B.A. in Anthropology from CU Boulder. A child of gambel oak woodlands from west Colorado Springs, he has been a witness to the change occurring across Colorado's mountains, rivers, and deserts for three decades. These observations and experiences inform his research - which explores ongoing changes in forests, fire, and climate dynamics across the southern Rockies, Black Hills, and southwest US. He is currently the Forest and Fire Science Manager at the Forest Stewards Guild, based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Kristen Pelz is the Analysis Team Lead for Forest Inventory and Analysis at the Rocky Mountain Research Station, part of the USDA Forest Service. She leads a team focused on providing quality inventory and monitoring data to partners across the Interior West, and, nationally. She holds a B.A. She in environmental studies and geography from Middlebury College, and an M.S. in forest science and a Ph.D. in ecology from Colorado State University. Her interests include understanding muti-party monitoring for effective adaptive forest management, forest disturbance ecology, and stand dynamics in the southern Rocky Mountains. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Kristen now lives in lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband and two daughters

Esmé Cadiente is a Deputy Director at the Forest Stewards Guild, where she leads their national policy program and supports staff and projects in New Mexico and Colorado focused on landscape-scale forest and watershed restoration, building resilient communities, and restoring fire to fire-adapted ecosystems. She contributed to the Rio Chama CFLRP proposal and the development of its multiparty monitoring plan, bridging on-the-ground implementation with policy and strategy. text goes here
