We love our creeks, rivers, and streams for many reasons and by picking up all the trash alongside, next to, and in the river, we play our part in keeping the riverine ecosystem clean. July 11th, 2025 | Working the Llano Sin Agua - Join us in Antonito, CO, July 10th-11th, for Working the Llano Sin Agua, a regenerative agriculture summit and range school hosted by the Wright-Ingraham Institute and Conejos County Conservation District. At this event we assist the Bureau of Reclamation with restoration tasks that may include pulling weeds, cutting back invasive plants, planting native species, caging native species. July 19th, 2025 | The Poudre River: a Look Back in Time - The Poudre River  is an ancient waterway that has a rich history of first peoples, explorers, mountain men, trappers, miners and military encampment. Farming and water issues gave rise to water laws and became a part of the Fort Collins heritage. An easy half-mile stroll that explores the origins of the river, its history and future plans for a significant resource that is the only river in Colorado with the designation of wild and scenic.  Families are welcome. August 2nd, 2025 | Sweep the Creek - This event is designed to bring together local rafting companies and non-profit organizations for a day of community engagement, fun, laughter and food. August 5th, 2025 | SNOTEL Hike with NRCS - Learn about the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Snow Survey and Water Supply forecasting resources they have, while enjoying a short hike starting at 9am on Hoosier Pass to a SNOTEL (Snow Telemetry) site. We'll meet in the parking lot at Hoosier Pass and hike as a group, enjoying the views and wildflowers, to the Snotel site for a private talk on the snow scale and other equipment. Register HERE.
