June 5th & 6th, 2025 | 2025 Conference on the Colorado River - Once again, the Colorado River is at a crossroads, as the efforts to finalize the post-2026 rules push up squarely against long standing conflicts, legal interpretations, and notions of equity and inclusivity. Complicating progress is the narrow focus on reservoir operating rules, and the tradition of pushing the thorniest issues to future discussions in largely undetermined forums and unknown schedules. In this event, we assess the current state of progress, focusing specifically on the degree to which emerging steps forward incorporate the lessons learned through past experiences. June 7th, 2025 | Adopt a Bay - Dillon Reservoir Cleanup - Eighth grade students, Daisy and Talia, from Summit Middle School have taken the initiative to launch a new Adopt a Bay cleanup event at the Dillon Marina on Saturday, June 7 beginning at 10 a.m. Meet at the marina and head out on foot or on a boat to clean up the reservoir. Each June stakeholders gather to discuss current and future water challenges and opportunities facing the state. June 24th, 2025 | Public Stakeholder Meeting & Watershed Tour - Please join the Barr-Milton Watershed Association for our annual watershed tour which will begin at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal and travel to the inlet of the Beebe Pipeline, which empties into Barr Lake. We’ll tour the inlet of the Pipeline and see 1st, 2nd and 3rd Creeks, all of which are monitored by Barr-Milton Watershed Association.
