The MRT is looking to fill a voting At-Large Seat. The MRT membership generally meets once a month, the second Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in a hybrid format both virtual and live at the Denver Water campus in Denver. Meetings generally adjourn around 4:00 p.m. In addition to the regular monthly meeting of the full membership, members are encouraged to be part of standing or temporary committees. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) has published its final Beaver Conservation and Management Strategy, establishing a comprehensive framework to guide conservation, restoration and management of beaver and beaver-influenced wetlands across Colorado. Learn more HERE.
Western Resource Advocates, Colorado State University Extension, and the Colorado Water Center, has published a new report “A Path Forward for Licensing Landscape and Irrigation Contractors in Colorado”. The report highlights the project findings from “research into other states that have requirements or incentives for landscape and irrigation professionals, stakeholder engagement with Colorado industry professionals, and analysis of the findings.” Read the report HERE.
