Student Volunteer Intern Fair: The EPA regional office is hosting two intern fairs at 1595 Wynkoop Street on March 22nd from 12:00 pm – 5:30 pm with an opportunity to meet with volunteer internship project sponsors, participate in a mock interview process with EPA representatives, and obtain information on applying for permanent employment with the EPA. For those attending the fair, bring an official government issued ID and ensure additional time for an airport type security screening. Students are not required to attend the fair to apply.

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife is hosting a meeting April 4, 1:00 pm at White River Electric (Kilowatt Corner) in Meeker. Regarding their recent sampling efforts on the White River that was initiated in late 2015 through fall 2016. The meeting will present findings from the samplings. They would like to engage stakeholders so that together, the community might begin to address what appears to be a fairly complex problem.
