The Commission adopts water quality classifications and standards for waters of the state, as well as various regulations aimed at achieving compliance with those classifications and standards. February 18th, 2026 | High Resolution Geophysics Learning and Happy Hour Event - 6pm - 8pm - High resolution geophysics can be a powerful tool in groundwater contamination studies. When used in conjunction with modern tools for data integration and interpretation, quantitative 3D conceptual site models can be made which are actionable for improved site remediation. This presentation will use case studies to illustrate the design, implementation, and use of high-resolution geophysical studies to aid in the characterization of groundwater flow at contaminated sites. Key considerations for success include; physical property determination, method suitabilities/limitations, site-specific constraints, and availability of supporting data.
